Ball Park ‎(12", RE). Tresor, Tresor. The ultimate Joey Beltram tune. Tough, pounding techno with the balls of a psycho boxer. Beginning with some stunning, banging percussion, the tune then moves into into a higher gear with synth pads and high end tones that knock you straight into orbit.

I'm with ecuardorian_bass, the bicknell remix is an amazingly deep, locked groove, wall-of-sound-in-your-face type affair. Played end-to-end it's incredibly absorbing. The only complaint is that the sound is so compressed and dense that it's nigh on impossible to mix without the whole sound becoming cluttered.
The ultimate Joey Beltram tune. Tough, pounding techno with the balls of a psycho boxer. Beginning with some stunning, banging percussion, the tune then moves into into a higher gear with synth pads and high end tones that knock you straight into orbit. You are gonna dance to this. The remixes aren't quite as impressive (dunno much that could be), but Steve Bicknell's chugs along nicely with a (slightly) more laid back vibe. Awesome stuff.
Gotta be the Bicknell mix on this EP for me. The original is a stormer no doubt. But the off kilter rhythms and simple darkness of Bicknell's production sends me west every time I hear the bugger. I suppose it really sums up the sound of 'Cosmic' productions at the time - techno with a tribalistic and minimal tendency. Fantastic shit that sounds contemporary even now.
agreed agreed!! the breakdowns mix so well with the bare bones minimalism....my favorite track of his
It starts with a jumping, smitten beat, and then... then comes that huge powerful bells-like sound, invading and filling up the air with total devastation. Play it loud, or hear it at a party, and you'll see what I am talking about! And even the construction of the track is a delight to insert in a set: cut off the precedent track just right before the big bells... and watch the crowd screaming!
