The bulk of the organ dates from 2003 and incorporates parts from an earlier romantic instrument. There is a large scale Tuba mirabilis on 19 inch pressure based on the one in the dome organ of St Paul’s Cathedral, London and stops using the scaling of Cavaille-Coll. The organ is featured in an international festival held in the church and is regularly broadcast.
