Narumo spent three weeks in London in the summer of 1971, where he did a recording session with vocalist Brian Keith and local session musicians in one of the (then-plentiful) Denmark Street studios. The result was London Notes, released in November of that year. He returned to London again in early 1973 for a more extended stay, playing in several local bands and coming under the influence of keyboardist Rick Wakeman. (Not relevant to this recording, but he was eventually deported for overstaying his visa..)
